Moon & Steam is a quiet, reservation-only tea salon. We offer 90-minute seating blocks for 1–6 guests. Each reservation includes access to our curated menu of rare teas, elixirs, and artisan pairings.

Reservation Deposit & Minimum Spend
At Moon & Steam, all visits are reserved in advance to maintain a serene, intentional experience for all guests.
- $20 deposit per guest is required at the time of booking and will be applied toward your final bill.
- Each guest must meet a $20 minimum spend during their visit.
Mindful Hospitality Fee (No Tipping Required)
To ensure our tea attendants are fairly and consistently compensated, a 20% Mindful Hospitality Fee is added to all reservations. This fee allows us to operate as a no-tipping environment while maintaining exceptional service and generous hospitality. No additional gratuity is expected or accepted.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Because our space is small and demand is high, we offer the following cancellation policy:
- 72+ hours’ notice: Full refund of your deposit
- 48–72 hours’ notice: 50% refund
- Less than 48 hours or no-show: Deposit is non-refundable
For groups of 5 or more, changes to party size must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
We kindly ask that you arrive on time. A 10-minute grace period will be honored before the reservation is released.

🌙 Reservations
We operate strictly by reservation to ensure an intimate and focused experience.
Each session is 90 minutes long, and you’re welcome to extend your reservation at any time, subject to availability
🌙 Group Sizes
Group sizes of 1 to 6 can be accommodated
Individuals are welcome, you will be seated at our shared table
Parties of 2, 3 or 4 will be seated at our tatami room table
Parties of 5 or 6 will be seated at one of the shared tables and may be joined by an individual, or, for a small additional fee, these size parties can reserve our semi-private tea room
🌙 Deposit + Minimum Spend
A $20 per person deposit is required at the time of booking, which is applied to your final bill; there is a $20 minimum spend per guest during your visit.

Moon & Steam is a gratuity-free space.
Instead, we apply a 20% Mindful Hospitality Fee to all reservations. This fee allows us to offer exceptional service and pay our tea attendants fairly, while creating a calm and elegant atmosphere without the need for tipping.
🧃 Alcohol-Free Policy
Our lounge is 100% alcohol-free.
We offer an array of premium teas and wellness elixirs, perfect for mindful sipping.
🍘 Dietary Options (Vegan/Gluten-Free)
We do not offer specialized dietary accommodations (e.g., gluten-free, vegan).
We feature pre-wrapped snacks from Asia available for purchase— each with clear ingredient labels so guests can make informed choices.

Enjoy free street parking all around the lounge. Just look for legal spots nearby—no validation needed.

Our space can accommodate up to 24 guests, making it ideal for:
