The story
Moon & Steam is Denver's first late-night tea lounge: a calm, reservation-only, 100% alcohol-free salon built for the way a growing number of people want to spend a night out — present, unhurried, and sober by choice.
It sits at the intersection of four cultural shifts at once: the loneliness epidemic, the rise of 'soft socializing,' the mainstreaming of the sober-curious movement, and a national boom in tea and matcha. Where most of Denver's alcohol-free venues answer the moment by imitating the bar, Moon & Steam is built for the opposite — quiet, ritual, and real conversation, open well past midnight.
The lounge is in development now, founded by Dan Jahn, and funded in part by the community it's built for — through a forthcoming equity raise that turns supporters into owners.
